Pokémon Legends: Z-A features over 200 Pokémon to catch, and Beldum is proving to be one of the most difficult to find. Luckily, we know exactly where to locate it!
Okay, so most Pokémon in Legends: Z-A show up in the Wild Zones around Lumiose City, but there are a couple that are different. Like, I found out Litwick only spawns in one secret spot, and Beldum is the same way – it’s not just wandering around everywhere. You really have to hunt for them!
Can’t find Beldum in Pokémon Legends: Z-A? We’ve got the details on where to find this Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon to complete your Pokédex.
Where to Find Beldum in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can find Beldum exclusively inside Lysandre Labs, a secret part of Lumiose City. You’ll unlock this area as you play the game, and you’ll be able to return to it later.
To prepare for your battle to become a Rank A Trainer against Grisham, you’ll investigate Lysandre Labs. Grisham sends you there to uncover information about the powerful Ultimate Weapon. While exploring, you’ll also get your first chance to find and catch Beldum.
After you unlock Lysandre Labs by playing through the story, you can go back anytime to explore and catch Pokémon like Houndoom, Manetric, Arbok, and Noivern, which can be found hidden within the labs.
You can quickly travel to Lysandre Labs by using Lysandre Cafe, which is close to Wild Area 7. If you’re planning to catch Beldum and its evolutions there, bring lots of Ultra Balls – they’re notoriously difficult to catch!
Can You Catch Metang & Metagross in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
You can catch both Metang and Metagross individually in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is a quick way to fill out your Pokédex.
You can find Metang in the same place as Beldum – Lysandre Labs. It sometimes appears where Beldum does. We’ve noticed this area usually has three Pokémon spawning, and while it’s most common to find Beldum there, Metang can also appear.
You won’t find Metagross until after you finish the main story and enter the post-game content. Once you do, completing the game unlocks Area 20 in the Wild Zone, where Metagross has a chance to appear as an Alpha Pokémon near the remains of Prism Tower.
Many different Pokémon can appear as Alpha in this location, including powerful options like Tyranitar, Chandelure, and Leafeon.
Just a reminder: if you see Zygarde in Wild Area 20, Alpha Pokémon won’t appear there until you’ve beaten and caught Zygarde first.
