How To Get Brittle Plating (Brittle Marble Shard) In Grounded 2

In the game Grounded 2, players have the opportunity to enhance their gear by creating a material known as Resilient Coating. However, prior to gathering resources and manufacturing the Resilient Coating, there are certain prerequisites that must be met first.

In Grounded 2, you can fabricate Fragile Coating on a Workbench by blending materials. One simple method involves mixing Resin (Sap) with Grub Leather (Grub Hide). Alternatively, you can gather Shards of Brittle Marble and utilize them to produce the Fragile Coating instead.

To progress effectively in this game, gathering some Durable Coating for your armor and tools at the Forging Workshop is crucial, especially as you delve deeper into the park. Initially, enemies might seem easy to handle, but they’ll grow increasingly tough as you advance. Therefore, enhancing your weapons and armor through the Forge becomes vital for prolonging your gameplay.

In the game Grounded 2, you can acquire a Fragment of Crumbly Marble by breaking down a Crumbly Marble Stone found underground, often in caves teeming with Red Soldier Ants, Spiders, and occasionally Cockroaches. This fragment can be discovered at different spots throughout the park, but an ideal early-game location is to the west of the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar.

As an avid gamer, I’ve stumbled upon an intriguing subterranean lair hidden behind the fortified outpost walls. This secret passageway is teeming with Brittle Marble Shards, a valuable resource for players. Once you’ve gathered all you can carry, simply return later when they reappear, allowing you to amass as many shards as your heart desires. Furthermore, during the main quest of the Egg Hunt, if you manage to incubate a Red Ant Soldier, you’ll also find some marbles in the very same cave that you enter.

Lucky for me, I just need to enhance my Omni Tool once to get the Tier I Omni Hammer. To do that, I’ll need to collect 2 of these small rocks scattered everywhere in the park, which are called Pebblets. You can’t really miss them! Also, grab one round orange goop, Sap, that you’ll find stuck on tree roots and branches. If I’m having trouble finding some Sap, I can always destroy an Acorn post-upgrade to craft a Sap Catcher. That should make the job easier!

In summary, you can collect Raw Science using various methods for enhancing anything or discovering additional recipes at the Ranger Station. After every preparation process and upgrading the hammer, you’ll be able to shatter both Brittle Marbles rocks and some Brittle Quartzite.
