How to Get Bronze in Soulmask

In Soulmask, you craft Bronze by combining Tin and Copper Bars. New players might struggle to find enough of these materials, but both starting areas on the Soulmask maps have mines full of Copper and Tin. Focusing on these mines early on will quickly get you the resources you need to start making Bronze.

Where to Get Copper in Soulmask

Okay, so if I’m playing on the standard Cloud Mist Forest map, there are two good spots to farm copper. First, there’s a Medium Copper Pit in River Valley โ€“ it’s west of the Western Rainforest. Or, you can hit up the Copper Mine in Rift Valley, just north of that first spot. Just a heads-up, both places are pretty well guarded, so don’t go in alone! I always bring a bunch of extra tribesmen โ€“ they’re good for taking the heat and carrying all the copper I mine.

On the Shifting Sands (Desert) map, you can find a lot of Copper in three different mines located in the River Delta and Coastal Dunes areas. The mine furthest to the west is a Medium Mine, meaning it holds a much larger amount of Copper Ore. However, it’s also more heavily guarded by enemies than the smaller mines.

Where to Get Tin in Soulmask

Okay, so if you’re playing on the jungle map, I’ve found a great spot for Tin. Head to River Valley and look for the Copper Pit, then go a little further south. Stick close to the bottom of the cliffs there, and you’ll find a cave packed with Tin. Seriously, it’s a huge deposit! Plus, don’t forget to grab the Tin Ore that’s just lying around at the base of the cliff while you’re there โ€“ it adds up fast!

On the desert map in Soulmask, you’ll find two Tin Mines north of the Three River Junction. One is near a Barbarian Barrack, and the other is in its own area northwest of the beach. We suggest going to the one by the beach to avoid fighting a lot of enemies at the other location.

While playing Soulmask, be sure to visit Scout Camps and defeat the scout stationed there. This clears the fog of war in the area, revealing important locations like mines, ruins, and enemy camps. If you’re playing alone, you can make enemies reappear by returning to the main menu and restarting your game.

How to Craft Bronze in Soulmask

First, unlock everything under the following nodes in the tech tree:

  • Potting Technique
  • Kiln Technique
  • Smelting Technique

Next, build a Furnace using the following materials:

  • Stone
  • Ceramic Mold (made using a Potting Table)
  • Clay

In Soulmask, you can obtain Stone and Clay by mining rocks. Clay sometimes drops when you mine rocks near rivers. To create Ceramic Molds, use a Potting Table and Clay.

Now that you’ve built a Furnace, you can combine Copper and Tin to make Bronze Bars. To make things faster, we suggest building two Furnaces. You’ll also need to build a Kiln later on โ€“ it’s essential for creating fuel used in crafting weapons and armor. Without a Kiln, you won’t be able to create all the gear that requires more advanced crafting stations.
