How To Get Mega Golisopod in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

To get Mega Golisopod, you first need to catch Wimpod and evolve it (it evolves at level 30). You can find Wimpod in 1- and 2-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones, which become available as you play through the Mega Dimension DLC.

As you complete more Hyperdimension Survey Missions, special yellow marks will begin appearing around Lumiose City. These marks, labeled ‘Unknown Mega Evolution Detected!’, indicate where you can find special Distortions.

Mega Golisopod gets four times weaker to Fire-type attacks, so avoid Mega Evolving it when Pokémon like Volcarona, Infernape, or Charizard are on the field.

To maximize its health and attack power, Golisopod should have an EV spread of 252 HP, 252 Attack, and 4 Speed. An Adamant nature is best. Because players often include moves like Aqua Jet or First Impression, Golisopod doesn’t require a lot of speed.

Keep in mind that First Impression is a powerful attack, but it can only be used once per battle—though there’s a current strategy to reset it by switching Golisopod in and out of the fight.
