How to Get Ceramics in StarRupture

As you progress and level up corporations in StarRupture, the tasks you’re asked to complete become increasingly complex. One material you’ll frequently need, especially for Future Health Solutions requests and crafting other items, is Ceramics. However, you can’t just start making it – you first need to unlock the Ceramics recipe. Then, crafting it requires gathering several resources and using specific machines. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to successfully create Ceramics in StarRupture.

How to Get Ceramics in StarRupture

You craft ceramics by combining Calcite Sheets and Wolfram Powder in a Furnace. However, you won’t be able to simply select ceramics from the Furnace to take them. First, you need to unlock the recipe at the Recipe Station.

Unlocking the Ceramics Recipe

The Ceramics recipe requires you to insert the following into the Recipe Station:

  • 600 Calcite Sheets
  • 900 Wolfram Powder
  • 400 Data Points

Once you have a furnace, making Wolfram Powder is simple – you just need Wolfram Bars, which are crafted from Wolfram Ore using a Smelter.

I just figured out how to make Calcite Sheets! You take Calcium Ore and smelt it to get Calcium Blocks, and then you simply put those blocks into a Fabricator. It’s surprisingly easy!

You can quickly collect Data Points by simply placing unwanted tech, plants, creatures, or creature parts into the Analyzer in your base.

After learning the Ceramics recipe, you can begin constructing your automated production line and start harvesting large quantities of the material.

How to Make Ceramics in StarRupture

Ceramics are crafted by fusing Wolfram Powder and Calcite Sheets together in a Furnace. This requires setting up two distinct production lines that both feed into the Furnace.

To use two resources with a single machine, you’ll need to utilize the multiple input slots available. The screenshot below shows an example with a Furnace, illustrating how the input slots connect.

Begin the production process by extracting Wolfram Ore. This ore is then smelted into Wolfram Bars, which are further processed into Wolfram Powder using a furnace. Finally, combine the Wolfram Powder with Calcite Sheets in a second furnace to create Ceramics.

Next, calcium ore is processed in an Extractor. The resulting material is then smelted into Calcium Blocks, which are used in a Fabricator to produce Calcite Sheets. Finally, these sheets are combined with Wolfram Powder in the second furnace to create Ceramics.
