How to Get Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Players have been asking for Cinderella since the beginning of Disney Dreamlight Valley, and she’s now available with the new Winter Ball update. You can unlock her by completing a quest called “The Pumpkin and the Princess” after downloading the update.

How to Start The Pumpkin and the Princess Quest

Once the Winter Ball update is installed, check your mailbox. You’ll find a letter from the Fairy Godmother asking you to locate a special shoe in the Plaza. This starts a quest called “The Pumpkin and the Princess” – finishing it will unlock Cinderella for you to play as.

Cinderella’s Shoe Location in DDV

You can find the special shoe in the Plaza area, as the Fairy Godmother instructed. If you’re not there yet, quickly travel to the Plaza and check around the stairs leading down to Peaceful Meadow. The shoe will be somewhere in that spot. The video above shows the exact location. Once you have it, head to the Fairy Godmother’s house to continue the quest.

How to Craft the Wish Enchantment in DDV

The Fairy Godmother reveals the glass slipper belonged to Cinderella. She explains that when everyone’s memories were erased, she protected Cinderella by hiding her. To bring Cinderella back, you’ll need a special pumpkin, but first, you have to create a Wish Enchantment to grow it.

Here’s a list of the items players need to gather to make the Wish Enchantment in DDV, along with where to find them.

  • 1 x Orange Nasturtium (found on the ground in Forgotten Lands)
  • 5 x Ginger (grows all over Forgotten Lands)
  • 5 x Gooseberries (harvested from their bushes in Forgotten Lands)
  • 1 x Diamond (mined from rock spots in Forgotten Lands)

After collecting all the necessary items, open the Potion & Enchantment section at any crafting station. Choose and craft the Wish Enchantment. Then, use the enchantment from your inventory and return to the Fairy Godmother.

How to Plant the Small Spell Pumpkin in DVV

Okay, so once I finally got my Watering Can enchanted, Fairy Godmother gave me this Spell Pumpkin and told me to plant it. It’s super easy – just put it in the ground, give it a water, and then you just have to wait around 15 minutes for it to grow! Pretty cool, right?

Harvest the pumpkin as soon as it’s grown, but be quick – it vanishes immediately after! You’ll then need to return to the Fairy Godmother, who explains that Remy took the pumpkin believing it was something he could use in a recipe.

Now, go to Remy’s Restaurant and retrieve the Spell Pumpkin. After you have it, return to the Fairy Godmother. She’ll let you know that with the Spell Pumpkin in hand, you can bring Cinderella to the valley.

You can put Cinderella’s house wherever you want, then add some furniture and the pumpkin near the Wishing Well in the town square. Once everything is arranged, clicking on the pumpkin will unlock Cinderella as a resident of your town.
