How to Get Deathmarks in Destiny 2

Planning to challenge other players in the Lawless Frontier, or maybe you’re after the Red Dark Matter Crystal to make your Praxic Blade look like a Sith Lord’s weapon? If so, you’ll need Deathmarks. This special currency is earned through the Destiny 2: Renegades activity, but it can be difficult to come by.

Looking for Deathmarks? We’ve put together a guide to all the ways you can get them quickly. We’ll cover both random drops and reliable methods, so you can stock up and keep invading!

How to Get Deathmarks in Destiny 2

You can earn Deathmarks by finishing Contracts in the Lawless Frontier. While Contracts don’t always reward Deathmarks, you have a better chance of getting them by completing Invasions in that same area. To start an Invasion, you’ll need to spend a Deathmark, hoping to earn more in return. The number of Deathmarks you earn doesn’t seem to depend on how well you perform in Contracts or Invasions, but it’s always best to try your best to maximize your rewards, especially when you’re wagering more Deathmarks.

To get Deathmarks, focus on doing Lawless Frontier activities on Master and Grandmaster difficulties. Look for the yellow invadable icons on your Holomap – any of these activities where players can invade have a better chance of dropping Deathmarks.

I’m really excited about the weekly Deathmarks Spider was supposed to start selling at the Tharsis Outpost! Sadly, when I checked just now, he didn’t have any available. Hopefully they’ll show up soon!
