I’m so excited! From November 6th to the 26th, we’ll be able to jump into ranked battles for Season 2 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The big reward this time around is a Mega Stone for Delphox! If you missed out on Season 1, you could still get a Mega Stone for Greninja, but thankfully, you only needed to reach Rank Y to get that one. It’s awesome they’re giving us more chances to collect these!

How to Get Mega Stone for Delphox in Pokemon Legends Z-A (Delphoxite)

If you’ve evolved Fennekin into Delphox in Pokemon Legends Z-A, you might be looking for Delphoxite, which is needed to Mega Evolve it. Currently, the only way to get Delphoxite is by achieving Rank S in Season 2 of the Z-A Battle Club. Keep in mind that this online feature requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription – you won’t be able to get the stone without it.

This mode lets you battle other players online in a chaotic free-for-all. The goal is to defeat as many Pokémon as you can within the time limit, and you’ll earn points to climb the ranks. Reaching Rank S will automatically reward you with a Delphoxite. This season, battle parties are limited to three Pokémon, so choose your strongest team – especially those with Mega Stones – to maximize your damage output.

You can find the Ranked battle mode in the main menu under ‘Link Play’, then select ‘Ranked Battles’. Once there, build your battle team and jump into a fight! You don’t have to win every time to earn points – just defeating Pokémon, Mega Evolving your own, and defeating other Mega-Evolved Pokémon will give you bonuses. We reached Rank S in just two battles, so most players should be able to progress quickly.

How to Get Delphox in Pokemon Legends Z-A

If you haven’t already obtained a Fennekin or Delphox in Pokémon Legends Z-A, you can start the side quest ‘Get Well, Fennekin’ after completing the sixth main story mission. Finishing this quest will give you a Fennekin, which you can then evolve into Braixen at level 16 and Delphox at level 36.

To activate Delphoxite, simply give it to your Delphox. During battle, when the Mega meter is full, press the right control stick to Mega Evolve your Delphox into its powerful Fire/Psychic form.
