  • Defend yourself from Elite Rogue Skeletons, Elite Deathaxe Skeletons, Lava Slimes, and Reapers
  • Make sure you have powerful Weapons and Pickaxes that can mine fast. This is because the NPCs in this mine are strong and pose a serious threat. 
  • You need to venture deep into the Ruined Cave Mine to reach the Volcanic Depths. 
  • Volcanic Depths is the place you’ll find Skal. 
  • Use the Portal Tool to teleport to the Forgotten Kingdom and use the cannon to reach the Ruined Cave Mine. 
  • To mine the Basalt Veins, you need a Pickaxe with 78 power or more. 

How to reach The Volcanic Depths

  1. Once inside the Mine, take the right-hand path to find the Ashen Passage. 
  2. A Magma Pickaxe is at the end of this passage, next to a couple of Basalt Veins. 
  3. Break the Veins with a strong Pickaxe and enter the Volcanic Depths.
