Heartopia is much more enjoyable when played with friends. Collaborating on building cool houses and joining events really brings the game to life. However, the chat feature is currently limited to text, and the lack of voice chat can sometimes make conversations feel a little disconnected.
Emotes and solo actions are a great way to communicate in Heartopia without having to type anything. There’s an emote or action for pretty much any feeling, and many of the animations are really amusing! If you’re curious about how to use and unlock more of these in Heartopia, here’s a guide.
How to Buy Emotes and Solo Actions in Heartopia
Okay, so if I want to unlock more emotes and those cool solo actions, I need to find Annie. She’s got shops called Music and Friendship in Heartopia. You can’t miss her – she’s in Central Square right next to that huge whale statue!
After you start a conversation with her, go to the chat menu. Select “Store,” then choose “Friendship Store.” This is where you’ll find all the emotes and solo actions available. You can browse through them, check the prices, and purchase the ones you want.
Here’s what you can buy:
| Solo Actions | Emotes |
|---|---|
| Happy | Doze |
| Chuckle | LOL |
| Smug | Tears of Joy |
| Act Cute | Shocked |
| Hand Heart | Okay |
| Follow Me | Nope |
| Expect | Think |
| Think | Work |
| Shocked | Upset |
| Awkward | Angry |
| Nervous | Petrified |
| Sad | Sweat |
| Sigh | Let’s Go |
| Hungry | Eat Fries |
| Angry | |
| Punch | |
| Sit Down | |
| Lie Down | |
| Squat Down |
Individual actions each cost 6,000 Gold Coins, and emotes cost 3,000 Coins. Occasionally, you’ll find some available at a lower price.
Annie isn’t the only one selling these items. There’s another seller, Doris, but she’s a bit mysterious. She only shows up when the weather is right, and her location always changes.
