In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Eternal Floette plays a key role in the story, especially during the climactic battles in Lumiose City. Players will be able to obtain this Pokémon, including its Mega Floette evolution, during their gameplay.
Getting Eternal Floette and its Mega Evolution in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is really difficult, as it takes a lot of work before you can even get them on your team.
For a full breakdown of everything you need to do, we’ve got you covered in this guide.
How to Get Eternal Floette in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

You won’t be able to get Eternal Floette to join your team in Pokémon Legends: Z-A until after you finish the entire main story – it’s a post-game Pokémon.
Once you finish the main story, new missions unlock, letting you catch legendary Pokémon like Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. But the most difficult Pokémon to get isn’t one of those—it’s AZ’s partner, Mega Floette.
Okay, so if you want to get Eternal Floette, you’ll need to beat 15 rounds of the Infinite ZA Royale! It’s pretty much like the ZA Royale we saw in the main game – you use Challenger Tickets to battle against other trainers, one-on-one. You can grab those tickets at the Quasartico Inc. building, so make sure you head there first!
After battling opponents 15 times in the Infinite ZA Royale – which requires collecting 15 Challenger Tickets – you’ll finally face your rival, Taunie. She’s joined by her Eternal Floette, and you need to win the battle to get this Pokémon.
How to Get Mega Floette in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Winning against Taunie in the Infinite ZA Royale lets you add Eternal Floette to your Pokémon team, and you’ll also get Floettite, which is needed to evolve Eternal Floette into Mega Floette.
This Mega Evolution stone is unique – it can’t be used on any other Floette, because different Floette forms exist. The Floettite is specifically designed for use only with an Eternal Floette.
You’ll need Mega Floette to complete Mable’s Research Tasks and fully update your Mega Evolution Dex. Getting it is also crucial for earning enough points to reach Level 50 and unlock the Shiny Charm.
