In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you’ll find most Pokemon roaming freely in Wild Zones. However, some Pokemon, such as Ralts, aren’t available there. If you want to catch Ralts, you’ll need to search specific areas within Lumiose City in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
Ralts has been a popular Pokémon since it first appeared in Generation 3, but it’s quite rare in *Pokémon Legends: Z-A*. It doesn’t appear in any of the open Wild Zones, and the places where it *does* live are often difficult to get to. Luckily, once you learn where to search, finding and catching a Ralts shouldn’t be too hard.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Ralts Location
In *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*, Ralts doesn’t appear in the Wild Zones. The Pokedex says it prefers grassy areas and is often spotted in courtyards. If you want to find a Ralts, check the grassy courtyards in Lumiose City, such as Vert Sector 4 or Magenta Sector 7.

If you’re starting out, Vert Sector 4 is a great place to go. It’s right across from the Vernal Pokemon Center, which is a little ways up the road from the Hair Salon and Stone Emporium. To get there, use the Holovator to reach the rooftops, then jump down into the grassy area. You’ll find lots of Bunnelby there, and if you look closely, you’ll also spot a Ralts.

You can get a free Ralts in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A* as a special gift! To claim it, go to the game’s menu, select “Link Play,” and then “Mystery Gift.” Choose “Get via Internet” to receive a Ralts that comes with a special item, Gardevoirite, which lets you evolve it into Mega Gardevoir later on. This offer is only available until February 28, 2026, so don’t miss out!
How to Evolve Ralts in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Ralts can evolve three times. Once it reaches level 20, it becomes Kirlia. Its final evolution depends on whether it’s male or female – you’ll find the evolve option in the game’s menu when Ralts is ready.
Kirlia has two possible evolutions: Gardevoir and Gallade. It evolves into Gardevoir at level 30, no matter if it’s male or female. However, if you have a male Kirlia, you can use a Dawn Stone to evolve it into Gallade – but a Dawn Stone won’t work on a female Kirlia.
Gardevoir and Gallade are both excellent choices to include on your team in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*. Plus, both Pokemon can Mega Evolve if you manage to find their respective Mega Stones.
