In Monster Hunter Wilds, there’s an assortment of hard-to-get items that you can trade for valuable prizes once you ascend to the Higher Ranks and finish the primary plot. Typically, these items become available under specific circumstances.
In the game, there are three types of Antimites: the common one and two rarer versions – Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass. Gathering these scarce items is challenging compared to the regular Antimite, but with the right strategies, you can amass enough to meet all your requirements.
Where To Find Fine Antimite And Antimite Mass
Instead of finding regular Antimite from any Hopper Crystal Ore node on the map, obtaining Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass requires you to keep an eye out for the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event in the Oilwell Basin Area.
To obtain Antimite Mass, look for the Giant Hopper Crystal nodes. These nodes appear during the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event and are marked by a blue question mark icon on your map, typically found in Area 14 of the Oilwell Basin region.
If the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event isn’t appearing for you, try spending some time relaxing in your tent over and over again. This action will refresh the environment, though it requires 300 Guild Points each time. Once you do this consistently, the event may eventually appear in the Environment Forecast.
Obtaining Rare Antimite is quite challenging, as this unique item is primarily collected from common Hopper Crystal Ore deposits during the massive Giant Hopper Crystal Eruption event. However, the likelihood of finding it is extremely slim.
The glistening Hopper Crystal Ore nodes, which contain Fine Antimite, are noticeable from afar due to their shine.
In the Oilwell Basin, you’ll often find Hopper Crystal Ore nodes for collecting Fine Antimite in Areas 11 and 14. To make travel easier, consider placing a Portable Camp in Area Nine and teleporting to it when needed. Notably, Area 11, which is adjacent to Area Nine, boasts three Hopper Crystal Ore nodes.
How To Use Fine Antimite And Antimite Mass
In the Oilwell Basin region’s Azuz village, you can barter Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass with Dogard. These items are valuable for exchanging them for goods like Azuz Tanned Leather and Turbid Shrimp, which are used for cooking. Occasionally, Dogard might even offer uncommon monster items in return for rarer forms of Antimite, such as the precious Nu Udra Cerebrospinal Fluid. This item can be acquired by damaging a Nu Udra’s wounds or by receiving it as a reward for successfully hunting a Nu Udra.
In any of the base camps, you have the option to connect with Dogard’s item trading platform through Nata. This means you can avoid the hassle of physically traveling to Azuz and searching for him yourself.
