In the Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, you can find Gimmighoul by starting the side mission called ‘Let’s Golden Gooooo!’. Look for the NPC with the blue exclamation mark in the Rouge Sector 1 area.
You can get a free Gimmighoul from Thelo (it will be level 5). But to finish Side Mission 122, you’ll need to evolve that Gimmighoul into a Gholdengo.

To evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo, players need to gather 999 Gimmighoul Coins. While that sounds like a big task, you’ll get a head start with 413 coins from Thelo, making it more manageable.
How to Get Gimmighoul Coins in Pokemon Legends ZA
Pocket Dimensions are the Answer
To collect Gimmighoul Coins, you’ll need to go into the Hyperspace Wild Zones scattered around Lumiose City. These zones change location daily, and you’ll find the coins as yellow, sparkling items on the ground. You can’t find them anywhere else in the city – only within these special zones.
We found around 50 Gimmighoul Coins after exploring three Hyperspace Wild Zones. If you collect the shiny coins as you play, you should be able to reach the maximum of 999 coins with just a few more runs.
After collecting enough coins, an evolution symbol will show up next to Gimmighoul’s picture, letting you evolve it into the Steel and Ghost-type Pokémon, Gholdengo.
