How to Get Gold Ore in Crimson Desert (Gold Vein Map Location)

As a big fan of Crimson Desert, I’ve learned that Gold Ore is super important! You need it to upgrade your gear, but also to make gold bars and earn money. It’s mostly found in gold mines, and you’ll have to do some exploring to find them. Luckily, there’s a Gold Vein map you can get that shows you exactly where all the mines are, making it way easier to collect Gold Ore in Crimson Desert.

How to Get the Gold Vein Map in Crimson Desert (Reveal All Gold Mine Locations)

Start by completing the “Stolen Quarry” side quest, which is part of the “Estate in Dismay” storyline from House Roberts. This quest involves taking back Karin Quarry and defeating the Marni’s Excavatron boss. Once you win, you’ll get the Mining Knuckledrill weapon and a Gold Vein map that shows you where all the gold mines are located in Pywel.

Here are all nine Gold Mines that the Gold Vein map will reveal for you in Crimson Desert.

  • Anvil Hill Cave in the Anvil Hill territory of the Demeniss region.
  • Mistshard Cave in the Deadfire Mountain territory of the Demeniss region.
  • Second Finger Cave in the Five-Finger Mountain territory of the Pailune region.
  • Silver Wolf Cave in the Wayward Woods territory of the Pailune region.
  • Two Sandpeak Gold Mines in the Tashkalp territory of the Crimson Desert region.
  • Cliffside Gold Mine in the Crimson Mountain area of the Crimson Desert region.
  • Desert Lake Gold Mine in the Varnia territory of the Crimson Desert region.
  • Guardian’s Cave in the Snaketail Wall territory of the Delesyia region.

Early Gold Mine Location in Crimson Desert

The Gold Vein Map shows most gold mines are a long way from Hernand, so it’ll take a while to get to them. But, early in the Crimson Desert, the Anvil Hill Cave can be a reliable place to find Gold Ores.

Once you arrive at the location, you’ll fall into a deep pit and see a large boulder in front of the Anvil Hill Cave. You can break the boulder and enter the cave by using either a Turning Slash or a Force Palm attack.

Be careful when you enter the cave – you’ll find a few Stoneback Crabs there. Deal with them first, then use your pickaxe to mine all the Gold Ore you can find in Anvil Hill Cave.

In the Crimson Desert, you can quickly gather 6 to 10 Gold Ores. You can use these to improve your accessories, or sell them for coins. However, it’s best to collect around 100 Gold Ores so you can craft Gold Bars and earn passive income by investing them in the bank.
