What Are Raider Hatches in ARC Raiders?
In ARC Raiders, Raider Hatches offer a way to leave the map quietly, avoiding alerts, enemies, and crowded hotspots like elevators.
These special entrances are rare and can only be opened with a unique key. Without the key, the Raider Hatch remains inaccessible – it’s that straightforward.
How to Get Hatch Keys
To find Raider Hatch Keys in ARC Raiders, you can do one of five things:
1. Loot Hatch Keys During a Raid
While raiding, you might find Raider Hatch Keys in loot – especially in valuable areas. It’s a good idea to keep these keys safe in your inventory so you don’t lose them if you’re defeated.
2. Buy from Shani
Shani provides the game’s security, and you can buy Hatch Keys from her shop when you reach level 12. Be warned, they cost a significant amount – 9000 coins each. However, buying from Shani is the most dependable way to get a key.
3. Find in Raider Stashes
Throughout the game world, you can discover secret caches of valuable items. Keep an eye out for a Hatch Key – it’s your ticket to a quick escape! Just be careful, as some of these hidden spots are protected by tough enemies or are located in dangerous places.
4. Craft One in Raid
Once you’ve unlocked the Advanced Crafting ability in the skills menu, you’ll be able to make Hatch Keys during raids. It takes some time to reach that point in the skill tree, but after you do, here’s what you’ll need to craft a Hatch Key while in a raid:
- 1 Advanced Electrical Components
- 3 Sensors
5. Craft One at a Workbench
After upgrading your Workbench to level 2, you can make a Hatch Key. It requires 1 Advanced Electrical Component and 3 Sensors – the same materials needed to craft it during a raid.
