In Pokopia, hedges are a wonderful addition to towns, helping to keep a natural feel. While flower bushes are everywhere, hedges – sometimes called ‘square plants’ by players – are much rarer to find.
This guide explains how to locate and collect hedges in Pokemon Pokopia. Players who want to use hedges to decorate their gardens and towns will need to gather quite a few, so this guide also covers the most efficient ways to farm them.
How to Get Hedges in Pokopia
Hedges, which are square-shaped plants, are rare in the game, making it difficult to collect enough for building. The most effective way to get more hedges in Pokopia is to locate them, photograph them, and then replicate them using the 3D printer.
To complete this task, players need to find some hedges. Luckily, there are a few hedge plants growing in the outdoor garden area behind the Rocky Ridges museum. Players can collect them using the Rototiller and add them to their inventory, but simply collecting them isn’t enough to get more.
After finding the hedges, players should open their camera and switch to Object Mode. Aim the camera at the hedges until the game identifies them as “Square Plant.” Once identified, take a picture and bring it to the 3D Printer located in the Pokemon Center.
Okay, so if I want just one of those square plants, it costs 4 Pokemetal. That’s not too bad, right? But if I’m trying to get a full stack of 10 hedges? That’s 40 Pokemetal! Seriously, that’s a lot of collecting I’m gonna have to do.
You can also get hedges by buying a Relaxing Park kit from the Pokemon Center for 500 Life Coins and then building it – each kit gives you around 30 hedges.
To build the Relaxing Park kit, you’ll need 20 Leaves, 20 Wood, and 20 Lumber. Building the park does require a lot of materials, but these are generally easier to find than rarer resources like Pokemetal.
