Season two of Arc Raiders introduces new items that players need to collect, and some can be quite challenging to find. One of these is Ion Sputter, which is only used for the expedition and isn’t needed for any upgrades. This guide will show you where to find Ion Sputter and the best places to farm it in Arc Raiders.

How to Get Ion Sputter in Arc Raiders

Ion Sputter sells for 6,000 and can be broken down into 4 Voltage Converters and 1 Exodus Module. You can find it in Exodus locations, with the Stella Montis map being the most reliable place to search. Once your run begins, head to either the Business Center or Assembly, depending on your starting location on the map.

Even though the map doesn’t show the Exodus near the Assembly area, you can still find the Ion Sputter there, so be sure to search around that location.

This item is quite rare, so players will likely keep it if they get their hands on it. If you’re fighting an enemy player, be sure to search their body – they might have it.

Both of these areas offer lots of places to search for loot, including metal cabinets and drawers that can be broken open. While you might find Ion Sputters inside, they’re rare. You’ll likely need to search every cabinet and drawer to find just one. You’ll need three Ion Sputters to complete the fourth stage of the expedition, in addition to other items.

You can test things out with a free loadout without risking your items, but it’s usually better to create a low-cost custom loadout. This way, you can use the Safe Pocket to protect your Ion Sputters.
