As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the latest update for Disney Dreamlight Valley has truly been a delightful addition to my gaming library. The Halloween-themed content, particularly the new Star Path and the Trick or Treat event, has added a fresh layer of excitement to an already engaging game.
The latest Halloween update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, rolled out on October 9th, has brought in numerous novelties, one of which is a fresh Star Path brimming with villain-themed items ideal for the spooky season. However, there isn’t an abundance of Halloween-related content yet. Nonetheless, the new update introduces a Mickey Mouse Halloween Candy Bowl, obtainable by players, as part of the upcoming Trick or Treat event scheduled for later this month.
For the third consecutive year, this event is taking place, and each time it does, it introduces fresh activities for players to engage with, such as trick-or-treating with their villagers. Players who have participated in past Halloween events may still have some leftover candy, which will unlock the recipe when they approach a crafting table. Fret not if you haven’t received it yet; you can expect to receive it later this month. This tutorial will walk you through creating Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl in Dreamlight Valley.
How To Make Mickey Mouse’s Halloween Candy Bowl in Dreamlight Valley
The Trick-or-Treat gaming occasion is set from October 23rd until October 31st. During this period, players can distribute sweets to their beloved Disney characters within the game. Keep in mind that Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl might be a bit challenging to produce if gamers don’t have last year’s candy or haven’t waited for the event to commence so they can gather green, purple, and red candy once more. But don’t worry! The candy will be replenished for the event, ensuring no one is left out. Here are all the necessary materials:
- Clay (x5)
- Green Candy (x2)
- Purple Candy (x2)
- Red Candy (x2)
During the event, players can discover variously colored candies scattered throughout the Valley by means of Halloween Candy Bowls that appear randomly. These shimmering bowls, similar to other collectible items, are found not just in the Plaza but across the Valley, only during the event. Alternatively, players can acquire green, purple, and red candies by trick-or-treating with the villagers of Disney Dreamlight Valley. The candies cannot be purchased but can be exchanged for 22 Star Coins. Upon consumption, they reward the player with 123 energy points.
Clay can be found in a few different biomes, including Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands. The only way to obtain Clay is by digging with a shovel in these locations, with Sunlit Plateau being one of the best places to start, as it has a lot of space to dig. The fastest way to gain Clay is by using a real shovel, having a villager companion tag along who has at least a level 2 friendship or higher, and continuing to dig until players have the amount of Clay they need. Clay can be sold for 20 Star Coins and can sometimes be found at Kristoff’s Stall.
As an enthusiast, once I’ve gathered all the required materials, I can make my way to a crafting station to create Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl. This small yet significant step brings me one rung closer to being fully prepared for the annual Halloween festivities in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
