Now that Hytale is out, many players are starting to collect Mithril, which is the game’s best equipment.
Mithril seems to be the best gear available in Hytale currently, but it’s much harder to find than other materials. While copper is common, and thorium is relatively easy to locate if you know the right spots, getting Mithril is a real challenge.
Here’s the latest regarding Mithril Ore in Hytale, and why it is so hard to find.
Best Location To Find Mithril Ore In Hytale
It’s a bit frustrating, but right now you can’t actually find Mithril Ore when you’re exploring in Hytale. It’s available if you’re in Creative mode, but not when you’re just trying to adventure and gather resources. Hopefully, the developers will add it to Exploration soon!
Many players are understandably confused that Mithril Ore and items made from it appear in Creative Mode. It leads people to wonder why it wouldn’t also be available in other game modes.
It’s not quite that simple. Currently, Hytale is still in Early Access, meaning a few items haven’t been fully set up to work with the most played game mode, Exploration.
Unfortunately, Mithril Ore and all items made from it are currently unavailable. While there are rumors it will become available in a new area within Exploration Mode, players can’t obtain it until that update is released or another method is added.
What Are Mithril Ingots Used For In Hytale?
Currently, it looks like Mithril Ingots will be used to create different types of equipment, including weapons, tools, and armor.
It’s currently a bit unclear if Mithril Ore can be found while exploring, as the game sometimes shows it as being craftable in workstations. Like many parts of Hytale, this feature is still being developed, so you won’t be able to craft Mithril items just yet.
Even if you could find Mithril Ore in Hytale today, you still wouldn’t be able to make Mithril gear because Storm Leather, the other necessary material, isn’t available in Exploration Mode yet. Hopefully, a future update will fully add Mithril items to the game.
