How to Get Money Money Badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

As someone who’s spent countless hours exploring the vibrant worlds of Paper Mario, I can tell you from my personal experience that Money Money is a game-changer. Now, I don’t claim to have a Ph.D. in Mario lore or anything, but I’ve been there, battling through the thick and thin with this quirky little badge.

As a gamer in the world of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, I’ve found that coins aren’t too hard to accumulate for the most part. However, as I progress deeper into the game and reach its later chapters, I’ve come to realize that increasing the coin drop rate of my enemies is a wise decision. Why you ask? Well, some of the most effective HP and FP restoring items like Jammin’ Jelly and Ultra Mushroom come with hefty prices.

Money Money Location in Thousand-Year Door (2024)

Pianta Parlor, Creepy Steeple

In the Thousand-Year Door remake, there are two different ways to obtain the Money Money badge. The initial approach is by purchasing it at Pianta Parlor for 450 Pianta Tokens. Alternatively, you can challenge yourself by acing Boo’s 6th Trivia Quiz in the Creepy Steeple. It’s also quite uncommon to obtain it as a drop from Bombshell Bill Blasters in Palace of Shadows, regular Bill Blasters in Pirate’s Grotto, or Dark Boos in Poshley Sanctum.

Pianta Parlor

As someone who has spent countless hours exploring the vibrant world of Pianta Land, I can confidently tell you that this place is full of excitement and rewards for those willing to put in the effort. Now, let me share with you a little-known secret that could potentially make your experience even more enjoyable.

As someone who has spent countless hours playing various games at the Pianta Playland, I can attest to the fact that earning Pianta Tokens through gameplay can be a time-consuming process. However, the sense of achievement and excitement when you finally win those tokens is unparalleled. The feeling of collecting all membership cards and seeing the tokens pile up in your possession is truly rewarding.

Creepy Steeple Boo (Remake Only)

Once you’ve liberated the Boos from their prison in Creepy Steeple’s lower levels, you can employ the “Tube Mode” to navigate under the wall in the first room of the Steeple. In this concealed area, you’ll discover a chest harboring the valuable Cookbook key item. However, beware, there’s also a Boo lurking about. Engage in conversation with him and prepare to answer Trivia Questions to reap the rewards. Each quiz becomes accessible following the completion of a story chapter. The prize for the sixth quiz is the Money Money emblem, so make sure you’ve finished Chapter 8 and have successfully passed all earlier quizzes.

In the Sixth Quiz, the Boo will pose fifteen questions for you to answer. Obtaining the badge requires answering each question accurately.
