In *Silent Hill f*, Faith is a unique currency that helps you strengthen your character. You use it at shrines to permanently boost key stats like health, stamina, and sanity, which are essential for helping Hinako survive fights. You can also spend Faith to unlock more slots for protective charms. Faith can be hard to come by, and choosing less effective upgrades early on can make the game more difficult as enemies get tougher and your sanity depletes faster. This guide will show you how to earn more Faith in *Silent Hill f*.
How to Get Faith in Silent Hill f
You earn Faith through the Enshrine system. Instead of throwing away items you don’t need, you can offer them at Hokora Shrines to receive Faith. If your inventory is full, visiting a Hokora Shrine is a great way to free up space and gain Faith simultaneously.
Certain items, such as Antique Combs and Dried Carcasses, are only meant to be displayed – they can’t be stacked and serve no other purpose. They can fill up your inventory quickly, so if you’re running out of space, it’s best to visit a Hokora Shrine right away.
You can gain Faith by offering almost any food item in the game. The rarer the food, the more Faith you’ll receive. A simple Arare will only give you about 10 Faith, but something like Kudzu Tea can give you around 100. If you have strong healing items you aren’t currently using, it might even be worth offering them to gain Faith and free up inventory space.
You won’t be able to protect everything, however. Things like bandages, red capsules, and toolkits can’t be saved for later – you have to use them when you need them.
