In Arknights: Endfield, completing various activities earns you Permits, which are essential for trying your luck on Banners (called Headhunting). Different Banners require different Permit types: standard Permits for the always-available Banner, and special Permits for limited-time Banners that feature a rotating selection of characters. You can even use unique Permits tied to a specific character to pull on their limited-time Banner, but these expire when the featured character changes.
