Advanced Alchemy Quest Guide in Silksong

Once you’ve finished the Alchemist’s Assistance quest (either in Act 1 or 2), you can go back to Alchemist Zylotol. You’ll notice he’s changed! He’s attempting to become a source of Plasmium. He can refill your Plasmium, which is useful for Rosaries, and then he’ll ask you to collect Plasmified Blood from creatures using a special tool he provides.

Extracting the Plasmified Blood in Silksong

After leaving the NPC, you’ll find two kinds of enemies. One digs and either spits or charges, and the other hangs from the ceiling and attacks from afar. To finish the quest, equip and charge the Needle Phial at either enemy. Listen for a clicking sound – that means you’ve extracted the blood and defeated them.

You’ll need to repeat this process ten times. Once you’ve done so, return to the Alchemist with the items to complete the wish. He’ll then give you a Plasmium Gland, which lets you craft things without using any resources.

Players can temporarily boost their health with Plasmium Phials and recharge their tools using the Architect Crest’s bind ability. Increasing health further will eventually cause the health bar to turn blue, at which point players will automatically regain health over time.
