In the expansive universe of RuneScape Dragonwilds, adventurers will encounter various items such as crafting supplies, foodstuff, and other resources during their journey. Carrying everything on your character isn’t advisable because if you meet your demise, you’ll have to return to retrieve all your belongings. This can be overwhelming, especially when losing everything in an area teeming with formidable foes. To avoid this hassle, consider building a storage chest at your base to safeguard your crucial items. Here’s a guide for creating one.
How to Unlock & Build a Storage Crate in RuneScape Dragonwilds

In the world of RuneScape Dragonwilds, the Storage Crate can only be opened by players who have successfully completed the tutorial first. Once they start collecting Ash Logs and construct a crafting station, it will boost their Construction XP and add the Storage Crate to their building options in the menu.
After opening the Storage Chest, you must gather at least 10 Ash Logs for crafting it. You may choose to position this chest within or outside your base, as your possessions will remain secure and won’t be taken by others. This chest provides a storage area of 2 rows by 8 columns, allowing you to store up to 16 different items at once. Given their simplicity to construct, it’s beneficial to craft multiple ones for organizing various items.
If goblins surprise-attack you, a Storage Crate might get damaged or destroyed if it’s in their path. But don’t worry, all your belongings will fall to the ground and can be retrieved later.
How to Get More Storage Space

If you find that the standard Storage Box isn’t meeting your storage needs and you need additional space, you’ll have to boost your construction skill level to 16 to access more storage options. These additions include a Small Chest, a Large Chest, and a Weapon Rack. Compared to the standard Storage Box, these offer double or even triple the storage capacity. However, they’ll call for some of the rarer materials found in the RuneScape Dragonwilds to construct them.
Should you opt for a change of scenery and relocate to a different outpost, it’s essential to personally shift all your belongings housed in Storage Crates to the new venue. Yet, you can swiftly commute between the two locations using the Lodestone teleporter, making travel a breeze.
