The Syringe Analyzer is a tool in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check that helps you check survivors for infection. You unlock it after finishing the second evacuation on day 11, but be careful! You only get a limited number of them, so it’s best to use them strategically.
How Does The Syringe Analyzer Work In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
The Syringe Analyzer is easy to use. Simply hold it on a survivor using the left mouse button (on PC) or the right trigger (on consoles) and, after a moment, the small screen will show a green or red result.
If a survivor shows up as green, they aren’t infected and can go to the Survivor’s Block. Even if they have some orange symptoms, remember those just mean they’re sick โ and they’ll get better on their own.
If a person’s scan shows orange or red, it means they’re infected and must be immediately sent for Liquidation or killed. The Syringe Analyzer is completely accurate in its readings.
Because syringes can only be used once to avoid spreading infection, players will see a counter showing how many they have remaining.
When To Use The Syringe Analyzer In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Syringe Analyzers are rare, so use them wisely. Don’t waste one by testing a survivor for every possible symptom beforehand. If you find even one red symptom without using a syringe, you can eliminate the survivor immediately, saving your limited supplies.
If someone shows no signs of illness, or only mild symptoms, they probably aren’t infected, so it’s best to save the Syringe Analyzer for someone who clearly needs it.
Using The Syringe Analyzer On Those With Orange Symptoms, But No Red Symptoms
Okay, so as a big fan, here’s how I understand when to use the Syringe Analyzer: you really need it when someone’s showing a lot of orange symptoms โ that’s how you tell if they’re sick or have an infection. If they’re covered in orange, it’s probably serious and you need to get rid of them. But if it’s just a normal amount of orange, that’s when you should use the Analyzer to check things out.
This is especially important when your quarantine area mainly holds people who appear healthy, since you wouldn’t want to risk letting someone who might be infected escape into that group.
Explore new symptoms in the Laboratory to reduce your reliance on the Syringe Analyzer.
It’s best to initially isolate anyone you’re uncertain about. Then, at the end of the day, use the Syringe Analyzer to check those in isolation who you think are most likely infected.
How To Get More Syringe Analyzers In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
You can only get more Syringe Analyzers in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check during evacuations, and these only happen every five days.
When evacuating survivors, it’s better to send them to the science team instead of the military. The science team will give you Research Points and Syringe Analyzers as a reward, which are more valuable than the cash you’d get from the military.
One Syringe Analyzer is provided for each survivor sent to the Science Truck.

You’ll receive these tomorrow, and they’ll automatically appear in your inventory when you start playing.
Saving more survivors means you’ll get more Syringe Analyzers, Research Points, and money โ all of which help you make better diagnoses. Since identifying symptoms in the Quarantine Zone is the core of the game, it’s really important to master that skill.
