As an experienced gamer with countless hours spent traversing the enchanting realms of Hyrule, I must say that stealthily escaping from Hyrule Castle’s underground prison in “Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” is a challenge that truly tests one’s patience and cunning. The sequence requires a keen eye for detail and a knack for strategic thinking, all while keeping the adrenaline pumping.
At the start of “Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom“, the Princess finds herself imprisoned beneath Hyrule Castle. It’s here where your comrade, Tri, bestows upon you the power of the Tri Rod. By interacting with a wooden table within the jail cell, Zelda gains the ability to utilize the Table echo.
Leaving her prison cell behind, Zelda will soon come across diligent Hyrule guards. To continue your journey unnoticed by these guards, you should navigate along the path (heading towards the left). Discover how to circumvent security measures and advance through the game “Echoes of Wisdom” as we proceed.
Throughout this series of events, Zelda has the opportunity to pick up the echoes from the “Hyrule Castle Pot” and the “Wooden Box”. These will prove incredibly helpful in diverting the attention of the guards.
How to Get Past the Guards and Stealth Your Way Out of the Prison in Echoes of Wisdom
First Guard by Himself
In the room, we positioned a pair of tables one atop the other, leaning them against the shelf. Subsequently, we placed another table in front of the stack for easy scaling up.
Guard 2 & 3
As a cunning explorer, I manipulated the environment to create an obstacle for the two patrolling guards near the storage junk. I strategically placed a sonic illusion, or “box echo,” on the lower part of their path, effectively halting their progression. This allowed us to capitalize on the distraction and slip by them stealthily from behind.
Moving forward, the following pair of guards standing with their backs to us can be bypassed effortlessly; no need for distraction or additional steps required. Let’s proceed to the next challenge!
Guard 6
Just climb the wooden ladder to the right of the guard and walk across the three barrels in the back. You can get the Hyrule castle pot Echo up on this platform. You can throw them to distract guards and you can even jump inside it and move around slowly.
Guard 7
To the individual on the left side near the Hyrule pots, kindly throw a pot towards the north-corner. This action will cause him to check the location where you threw it. Utilize that moment to swiftly move around and reach the next (and final guard) in this stealth section of “Echoes of Wisdom”.
Last Guard
For Guard #8, we brought forth the Echo from the Pot and chucked it in the direction of the southern region. Feel free to hurl the pot anywhere convenient, provided you can maneuver yourself to the left side without the guard spotting you first.
Once you manage to break free, you’ll encounter Impa and then lastly have the opportunity to wear Link’s iconic hooded garment.
