How to Get Quick Sling in Silksong

Red Tools in *Hollow Knight: Silksong* are extra combat options players can use while exploring or fighting enemies. Some tools work like long-distance attacks, and others can be set as traps before a boss fight to help you get ready.

Players can also find a Blue Tool in the second part of the game. This guide will show you where to find it and how to use it in *Hollow Knight: Silksong*.

How to Get Quick Sling in Silksong

Players can get the Quick Sling after reaching Act 2 and getting the double jump ability from the top of Mount Fay. This jump is difficult to reach – the platforming section is quite challenging and time-consuming – but it will make exploring the game and completing future platforming sections much easier.

Next, you’ll want to explore Sinner’s Road. You can reach it from the upper-right area of Greymoor, but you’ll need the wall jump skill you unlock in Shellwood first. Once you enter Sinner’s Road, head upwards and turn right when you see the first enemy.

Beware of the water infested with maggots! Falling in will poison you, preventing you from using Bind to heal. Fortunately, using Bind will also eliminate the maggots from your body.

Climb over the cages and lower the spiked wheels to reach the top left area and leave it. Continue upwards and follow the right path until you find a lever that opens a gate. Enter the tower-shaped room and go right to break a wall, which will lead you to Bilewater. Follow the path further until you see paths going up and to the right. The path on the right leads to a Needolin door containing the Ruined Tool – grab it if you wish – then go up and turn left at the top.

Take the left path, and when you get to the tall, narrow room, go upwards and into the second opening on your right. The first opening on the right leads to Shakra and the map, so head there if you’re carrying the Rosaries. After entering the second passage, continue to the right and go up; you’ll find a wall you can break open, which leads to the Quick Sling.

How Does It Work & Is It Worth It in Silksong?

The Quick Sling is a blue tool that lets you use two Red Tools simultaneously. Instead of spawning one Cogfly with a single action, you’ll now spawn two. However, using the Quick Sling also consumes two tools at once. This is very beneficial for tools like the , , , and others. But using it with tools like the would cause them to interfere with each other and break apart before the boss reaches the trap.

The Quick Sling isn’t very useful for general exploration because it takes up a valuable equipment slot, and you rarely need to use two tools simultaneously against typical enemies-except maybe in the Arena. It’s also not ideal for farming Rosaries and Shell Shards, as you’ll likely waste Shell Shards when a single tool use would have been sufficient.
