In No Man’s Sky, players can discover Radiant Shards by visiting turbulent planets, which are planets marked by high Sentinel activity and tainted by The Corruption. These planets have extreme weather conditions and a distinctive purple hue. What sets them apart is the abundance of corrupted creatures that will immediately attack the player upon spotting them.
To mine Radiant Shards, players need to have at least the A-Grade Mod Advanced Mining Laser equipped on their Multitools. Remember that mods of the same type need to be grouped together to be considered active.
Locating a Luminous Fragment of Cumulus won’t be straightforward. You can identify them from a distance due to their pinkish, radiant glow and the encompassing energy field. Similar to Storm Crystals, these structures tend to appear on stormy planets, but it’s crucial that the indigenous Sentinels on such planets are influenced by Corruption.
