How to Get Raindrops in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In the game “Hello Kitty Island Adventure“, certain items can be gathered solely under specific weather conditions. When starting your “Island Adventure” journey, you’ll notice that no rain occurs on Friendship Island initially. To alter the weather, you’ll have to fix the weather machines via their individual quest-lines. One type of weather-related item you might want to accumulate are “Raindrops“. Given their name, they only manifest when it’s raining, so here’s a guide on how to unlock them.

How to Unlock Rain

Where is the Aquafall Machine

To bring rain to Friendship Island, you’ll first need to repair the Aquafall Machine, which can be found east of the Kelp Maze in Rainbow Reef. However, before this becomes possible, you must complete certain tasks and build friendships with specific characters. When you receive the quest titled “A Clue On The Shore,” you’ll be well on your way to making it rain on Friendship Island.

Here are the quests you need to complete to unlock rain:

  • Open the Nature Preserve
  • Bring Back the Swing
  • Comic Relief
  • Fire Up the Volcano
  • A Long Awaited Introduction
  • Swimming Lessons
  • A Clue On The Shore
  • Island Stone

After finishing “Island Stone”, you can embark on the quest titled “Rain or Shine” to discover how to artificially induce rainfall. While this isn’t essential for gathering Raindrops, if you’re finding it challenging to trigger rain in your game, you might want to think about creating and employing a Rain Island Stone as an alternative solution.

Whenever it drizzles, a message pops up at the top of your display telling you the exact location of the rain. Each bout of rain persists for merely 15 minutes in real-time. During this brief period, unique creatures and fish that only emerge during rainfall will make an appearance. In case you’re unsure about when it might rain next, feel free to hit pause and check out the weather forecast conveniently located on the left side of the menu.

Where to Find Rainfall Flowers

How to Spawn Rainfall Flowers

Besides seeing creatures and fish that only thrive in rain, you’ll also discover Rainfall Blossoms. These blossoms are your means to collect Raindrops. However, remember that you’ll require the Watering Can item. The blueprint for crafting a Watering Can is obtained during the “Flower Power” quest, which you receive once your friendship level with My Melody reaches 14.

To craft the Watering Can, you need the following:

  • x2 Mechanism
  • x5 Ingot

You might have spotted beautiful purple blooms sprouting up across all the islands. Caring for these will provide you with materials, food, or music resources. During rainy days, you’ll find blue flower buds called Rainfall Blossoms. By using a Watering Can on them, you can collect Raindrops.

Every Crafting Recipe with Raindrops

Luckily, Raindrops are essential for just one crafting design, but keep in mind they’re also necessary for the Rain Furniture assortment and rain-themed outfits. Unfortunately, we don’t know how to predict which items of clothing or furniture will be available. However, if you have successfully fixed the Aquafall Machine, the rain-style apparel should start appearing in their designated stores.
