In simpler terms, “Schedule 1” skips the lengthy introductions and instead throws you right into your business venture without holding your hand throughout the process. While there is a tutorial section, it doesn’t cover all aspects of the game, leaving many discoveries for the player to make on their own as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
A challenge you may face is figuring out how to take away items once they’ve been added, as the game doesn’t provide an initial clue on how to accomplish this. However, as players expand their business, the solution will eventually become clear.
How to Drop & Move Items in Schedule 1
Players can place items from their inventory into the game environment by clicking on the desired item in the hotbar using the corresponding keyboard key. If an item can be placed, players will see a holographic representation of what the item would appear as in the location they’re currently viewing.
If the holographic image shows red, players are typically unable to position that object there due to space constraints. To adjust the item’s direction, use Q or E as keys. If this doesn’t help, try changing your selection and then reselecting the desired item after ensuring you’re properly oriented. To store items in the Storage, simply interact with it and move the tools you wish to store into it by sliding them in.
How to Pick Up & Remove Items in Schedule 1
In this game, moving objects from the environment into your storage area (inventory) is quite straightforward, but it might not be immediately clear when or how you should gather items. This includes a wide range of things, such as debris, rubbish, furnishings, and even television sets.
- Large Items: Hover your cursor over the item, then click and hold the right mouse button. One piece of furniture, no matter how large, only takes up one space in your inventory or storage.
- Small Items: For smaller items, players can just interact with them to pick them up and place them in their inventory.
- Trash: You’ll need to equip a trash collector to pick up trash. You can also press the interact key and drag the trash to your desired location.
Players can delete an item from their inventory by opening their phone, then moving the unwanted item into the red bin-like icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen. This action will dispose of the item.
