How to Get Rotor Blueprint in StarRupture

Okay, so in StarRupture, as I get on good terms with the different corporations, they start asking for more and more complicated stuff. It started with just mining ores, but now I’m making things like bars, wire, and sheets, and eventually even rotors and tubes! The thing is, I can’t make everything right away. To get the recipe for rotors, I had to unlock it at the Recipe Station in my base, and I also needed to find the Rotor Blueprint in the game. I’m sharing where I found it, so I can keep the crafting going!

Where to Find Rotor Blueprint Location in StarRupture

You can find the Rotor Blueprint northwest of your base, at the SMB ‘Purple Haze’ outpost. Look for a damaged satellite or array rising from a crater on the horizon – that’s where it is. I’ve added a screenshot below to help you spot it as you head out.

Once you get here, head to the back of the outpost – that’s the west side.

This location is packed with enemies. Bring lots of ammunition, and fully charge your Medkit and Grenades – you’ll likely need them if things get tough.

Once you’ve secured the base, find the only two-story building at the back. To enter, go around to the back of the building – the west side – and climb the rocks nearby. This will lead you to a cliff edge where you can jump onto the building’s open roof.

You can find the Rotor and Tubes Blueprints in the blue container on the second floor. While you’re exploring each floor as you descend, be sure to search thoroughly – there are useful materials for earning Data Points, plus lore fragments and consumable items that will help with future expeditions.

Just a heads-up: when I grabbed the blueprints, more enemies immediately appeared outside. I suggest keeping the front door closed while you search the building, and then quickly leaving once you’ve collected everything you need.

After you obtain the Rotor Blueprint, go back to your base and use the Recipe Station. Navigate to the Fabricator section, then submit the blueprints for the recipes you want. If you have enough Data Points and the necessary materials, the recipes will unlock and become available for use in your Fabricator.
