Prior to the world becoming overrun with Freakers in Days Gone, Deacon received a personalized gas tank for his motorcycle as a present from his wife, Sarah. At the outset of the primary narrative, Deacon’s bike sustains damage, forcing him to abandon it in search of a new fuel pump. Unfortunately, before he could retrieve it, his bike was seized by Copeland’s group.
During Days Gone, Deacon had the ability to upgrade his bike with better components all through the game, but what left several gamers disappointed was not being able to recover Sarah’s personalized fuel tank in the main narrative. However, in the remastered version of Days Gone, players can now obtain Sarah’s fuel tank, and this guide will walk them through the process.
How to Get Sarah’s Fuel Tank in Days Gone Remastered
In the primary storyline of Days Gone, players won’t stumble upon Sarah’s fuel tank. But, they can acquire it by engaging with the Horde Assault game mode, which is only available in the enhanced edition of Days Gone.
Obtaining Sarah’s fuel tank during the Horde Assault in Days Gone Remastered can be utilized as a customizable component across all game modes, such as Story Mode, providing players with additional resources. Upon unlocking this prize, players will earn the “Sarah’s Gift” trophy.
How to Reach Reputation Phase 1 in Days Gone Remastered Horde Assault
To progress in the “Reputation Phase 1” of the Horde Assault game mode within “Days Gone Remastered”, gamers will initially need to invest some time playing the game, as this is an early stage requiring effort before Sarah’s fuel tank becomes accessible.
In Horde Assault, there are four maps initially available, but three of them are locked at the start for players. To unlock the second map, gamers need to achieve a sufficient score that meets the required target score. After achieving this in the second map, they must do the same to unlock the third map, and so on.
Crater Lake is the last area in the Horde Assault game. In the initial reputation phase (Phase 0), players must aim to earn a total of 800,000 points. If they manage to reach this target score, their reputation will rise and they’ll gain access to Sarah’s fuel tank. Here are the respective target scores for each map in Phase 0:
* Map A: 150,000 points
* Map B: 200,000 points
* Map C: 300,000 points
* Map D: 150,000 points (Note: This value appears to be repeated twice)
- Cascade map: 400,000
- Belknap map: 500,000
- Lost Lake map: 750,000
- Crater Lake map: 800,000
Players should consider using negative injectors to increase the multiplier at the end of the run.
When players advance to the first phase of Reputation, they must repeat each map aiming for a greater objective score in order to progress through subsequent reputation phases and gain access to additional rewards.
