Battlefield 6 has had a fantastic launch and players are really excited about it! Season 1 has brought a lot of new content, making now a great time to start or return to the game. If you’re looking to get ahead, jumping in now will give you a head start on the new seasonal challenges.
Completing assignments is a fantastic way to get free rewards and unlock powerful weapons in the game. Some of these challenges can be difficult, especially getting Savior and Payback Kills. This guide will show you how to master them.
How to Get Savior Kills in Battlefield 6
You get Savior Kills by eliminating an enemy who is currently attacking your teammates, essentially saving them from being defeated. While you can earn these naturally during gameplay, the fastest way to get a lot of them is by playing bigger game modes like Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough, and Escalation.
Savior Kills are easier to get in game modes where players team up. But you can also do well in Squad Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Domination if you stay close to your teammates.
To unlock rewards in Destiny 2, you’ll need to get “Savior Kills.” These are specifically required for the first assignment from the Protection Expert Unit, where you need 30 to earn the Polysteel Fireteam Vedmak Support Skin. You’ll also need 30 Savior Kills in the Squad Deathmatch game mode to complete Squad Deathmatch Challenge 2, which unlocks the Thorn Espada Support Skin.
How to Get Payback Kills in Battlefield 6
Payback Kills (also called Payback Accolades) work a bit differently than regular kills that reward you for helping teammates. Instead of getting credit for eliminating anyone who hurts your team, you earn a Payback Kill by defeating the player who most recently killed you. This can happen after you respawn, get revived, or even manage to take them out while you’re still down using things like mines or grenades.
You’ll earn Payback Kills just by playing the game, but the fastest way to get them is in close-quarters combat modes like Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, and Domination. These smaller maps mean you’re more likely to encounter the players who recently killed you, giving you opportunities for payback, compared to bigger maps.
The first challenge for Protection Expert Units asks players to get 10 Payback Kills and 50 multi-kills. If you succeed, you’ll receive the Polysteel Fireteam Vedmak Engineer Skin and the Grey Strike Coyote Squad Engineer Skin. Payback Kills might also be required for daily and weekly challenges, offering extra XP.
