In Arc Raiders, you’ll face danger from both Raiders and the powerful ARC enemies. The ARC enemies can quickly defeat you, so planning your approach is crucial. To upgrade your Gunsmith Station to Level 3, you’ll need to find and recycle the Sentinel Firing Core. This guide will show you where to find these items and how to get them in Arc Raiders.
How to Get Sentinel Firing Core in Arc Raiders
You can get Sentinel Firing Cores by defeating Sentinels – these are stronger versions of the turrets found throughout the game. These enemies take a moment to charge up before firing, and their shots are powerful enough to quickly break your shield and deal significant damage.
When attacking these turrets, it’s smartest to start the fight from behind cover. This lets you quickly shoot and then hide, damaging them bit by bit.
Okay, so I’ve figured out that if you hit these things enough times, they explode! Then all the pieces fall to the ground. It’s super important to remember that if you’re up high when you take it down, everything will fall all the way down, and you could fall with it. Trust me, falling damage is a real problem in this game, so watch your position!
Destroying the Sentinel will give you its Firing Core. You can then search for another Sentinel, but finding more than one on the same map is unlikely because other players may have already destroyed it.
Okay, so I’ve been trying to find these Sentinels early in the game, and I’ve had some luck in a couple of spots. First, check near the Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds – there’s one right on top of the blue stairs going up. Blue Gate is another good place to look. And on Pilgrim’s Peak, you can usually find one on top of the main building. Finally, I found one inside the Headhouse, but you have to go through the Outer Gates to get there.
Recycling the Sentinel Firing Core gives you two ARC Alloys and three Mechanical Components, which are both helpful for crafting and improving your gear.
