In the game ‘Dune: Awakening’, Spice-Infused Copper Dust is a precious component needed to create extraordinary weapons, armors, and tools. This elusive material can be discovered in just a handful of hidden treasure boxes scattered throughout the game’s world.
Unlike most in-game materials, the location of Spice-Infused Copper Dust isn’t random – instead, it has fixed spots where you can find it. This makes knowing where to look crucial for players aiming to collect a large amount of this rare crafting material. For those wanting to craft a complete set of unique gear for their character, securing a good stockpile of this valuable resource should be their priority.
Where to Find Spice-Infused Copper Dust in Dune: Awakening
In the game Dune: Awakening, you’ll often discover a valuable resource called Spice-Impregnated Copper Powder in unique, colossal treasure chests. These chests may also hold Exclusive Blueprints. However, not every Unique Schematic chest guarantees this material; it appears randomly in a limited number of them. In the southern region of Hagga Basin, you’ll find three such chests that have a chance to drop Spice-Impregnated Copper Powder.
- Wreck of the Alcyon: East of the Griffin’s Reach Trading Post. Contains the Kaleff’s Drinker Unique Dagger Schematic
- Imperial Testing Station No. 2: Between Griffin’s Reach Trading Post and the Wreck of the Alcyon. Contains The Emperor’s Wings Mk1 Unique Utility Schematic.
- Old Griffin Hideaway: Just west of the Griffin outpost, hidden among the cliffs. Contains Way of the Fallen Unique Gun Schematic.
When you come across a chest containing Spiced Copper Powder, note its location. Approximately 45 minutes later, the contents of this box will reappear, including not only the Spiced Copper Powder but also a Rare Blueprint. Remember to visit these boxes regularly to accumulate a large amount of these valuable items.
A Sandbike is crucial to make traversal between locations easier.
How to Use Spice-Infused Copper Dust in Dune: Awakening

As a gamer, I’ve discovered that Spice-Infused Copper Dust is essential for creating unique items in my base’s Fabricator, but only with the right Imperial Permit. Once I’ve managed to secure a blueprint for a unique item, I head back to my base and delve into researching it from my inventory. Then, armed with my Fabricator, I craft the unique item using the permit and the essential Spice-Infused Copper Dust.
There’s no requirement to have Spice-Infused Copper Dust with you when using the Fabricator. If the item is stored within your base in any container, it will still be detected by the Fabricator.
As a gamer, when I utilize a special blueprint (Unique Schematic) or an Imperial Permit for the first time, it vanishes – never to be used again. To craft another unique item, I’ve got to scour the game world, searching for another one-of-a-kind blueprint hidden deep within a massive treasure chest. Once found, I must start the process all over from scratch.
