In the game “Once Human,” blueprints for weapons and armor are the most reliable method for players to boost their offensive and defensive capabilities. While some of these items can be found by looting, the best weapons and armor are typically obtained from the Wish Machine. To utilize this special feature, though, players must have a plentiful amount of Starchrom on hand. Here’s a simpler way to obtain Starchrom in “Once Human”:

In the game “Once Human,” Starchrom serves as a unique currency linked to the Wish Machine. This machine is a functional addition that players can set up in their own territory. The Wish Machine grants access to Blueprints essential for crafting weapons and armor. Players holding Starchom can interact with the Wish Machine in two ways: they can make a wish by pressing F when near it, or they can visit the Blueprint Shop by pressing G.

Individuals who click the F key will enter the Wish Machine, a place where they can risk their Starchrom to obtain desirable rewards. At the machine’s bottom, various prize pools are available for selection. After choosing a preferred prize pool, players may then engage in a whack-a-mole-inspired mini-game by pressing ‘Play’. In this game, each successful whack will require Starchrom expenditure. Players can continue until their Starchrom is depleted or they decide to withdraw at any time.

How To Get Starchrom

Seasonal Goals

As a passionate gamer, I’m excited to share that one way to obtain Starchrom is by completing Seasonal Goals. These goals are broken down into various phases for each season, presenting us with engaging challenges. Completing these phases rewards us with Mitsuko’s Mark and fills the progress bar required to claim the Seasonal Rewards for each phase. Each reward tier, of which there are three for every phase, contains Starchrom as a valuable component. To access your Season Goals, simply follow these steps:

Press ESC to open up the map menu.
Head on over to the current season’s scenario.
Head to the Seasonal Goals tab and select any one of the Seasonal Phases.

Here, players have the ability to effortlessly check and monitor the tasks at hand, visit the Seasonal Store, or collect their Seasonal Achievement prizes.

Stardust Resonator Filter

Players have the unique opportunity to generate their own Starchrom by utilizing the Stardust Resonator Filter. This feature enables players to transform Eclipse Cortex into Starchrom, but it’s important to note that this process incurs a cost. To purify Eclipse Cortex, players must protect the Stardust Resonator Filter during the entire purification period. The length of time required and the difficulty level of opposing enemies will depend on the quantity and level of Eclipse Cortex used. Players can construct the Stardust Resonator Filter using the following components:

20 Glass
30 Metal Scraps
20 Rubber
10 Copper Ingot
10 Acid

For individuals aiming to obtain Eclipse Cortex, effective strategies involve finishing side quests and activating production facilities – both of which are marked on the map.

Each week, the Stardust Resonator Filter has a set limit for purging impurities, allowing players to produce a restricted quantity of Starchrom.

Stellar Planula Shop

As a gamer, I can tell you that just like Stardust Source, I can get Starchrom from merchants. In my experience, I’ve been able to buy Starchrom specifically from Severin VII-S2041 for 100 Stellar Planulas. You can obtain these Planulas by completing Morphic Hunt events or finishing side tasks. Now, Severin VII-S2041 isn’t hard to find – I’ve encountered him at Deadsville first, but he’s also present in most settlements on the game map.

Prime War

Players can also gain Starchrom by taking part in a Prime War, which is a battle that appears on the map as an event. In a Prime War, players will need to protect a Staroid Containment Unit from an enemy called an Original Entity Kin. To initiate both the Staroid Containment Unit and the Prime War event, you’ll require Staroid, which can be obtained by finishing Commissions. After activation, everyone in the Prime War zone has a brief period to strengthen the Staroid Containment Unit before the boss emerges. During the battle, players must defeat the boss while simultaneously guarding the Staroid Containment Unit.

The Original Entity Kin is tough to defeat due to its Silver Plague shield, which neutralizes most harm. To break this protective layer, players can employ explosives, Plasma Rounds, and Gatling Cannons. After removing the boss’s Silver Plague shield, it will become more vulnerable to ordinary weaponry. Defeating Original Entity Kin for the first time grants a substantial Starchrom reward. Additionally, players can earn Stardust’s Advent by joining another Prime War once the cooldown of 10 minutes has passed.

To improve your chances of defeating the Original Entity Kin, spend some time interacting and playing with your friends or fellow Hive members.

Battle Pass

As a gamer, I can tell you that an alternative way to get my hands on some coveted Starchrom is by working my way up through the Battle Pass. Although the premium version offers appealing cosmetic rewards, the free pass comes with its perks as well. Among these benefits are resources that don’t require any monetary investment, and lucky for us, Starchrom happens to be one of them!

Journey

An alternate method to consistently obtain Starchrom is through advancing in the “Once Human Journey” sequence. This journey represents a variety of missions that players can finish to receive various prizes. Each mission grants its own rewards, but only upon completing all tasks within one journey, will players be eligible for Starchrom. Players may access their journey tasks and collect journey rewards by simply clicking the J key to bring up the Journey interface.

Events

Just as with various other rewards, Starchrom in “Once Human” can be _earned by participating in in-game events_. The events in this game are diverse and some persist permanently, while others are time-limited. To access the events, players should _navigate to the Events section of the Shop in the main menu_. Once there, they can easily check the requirements for claiming event rewards or simply claim their rewards after completing a task.

Completing The Once Human Survey

The final method to acquire a nice supply of Starchrom is to complete the Once Human survey. While this method only offers a one-time reward of 300 Starchrom, completing it is quick and easy. To gain access to the survey, players can simply open up the main menu and select the Survey with Reward 1 tab at the bottom right of the screen. From here, players can simply fill out the survey to claim their Starchrom reward.
