When players return to Rinko’s house in Ebisugaoka during the game, they’ll encounter some tricky scarecrow puzzles. This guide provides solutions for each difficulty level of the Field Puzzle in *Silent Hill f*.

How to Complete the Field Puzzle in Ebisugaoka in Silent Hill f

Once the scene with Shu ends, you’ll be in an empty field filled with scarecrows. Check the first scarecrow – the one with a cloth over its face – and take the Sickle from its hand. This will give you a weapon for fighting, but keep in mind it doesn’t last very long.

Walk up to the group of scarecrows – each one is positioned differently. You’ll need to pick the right scarecrow to move forward. If you choose correctly, it will point you in the direction you need to go, and after walking a short distance, a new set of scarecrows will appear.

Be aware that you’ll encounter scarecrows that will try to attack you. It’s best to take care of them immediately, as they’ll relentlessly pursue you if you don’t.

Story Difficulty Solution

When playing on a harder difficulty, be sure to carefully examine all the scarecrows that look like Hinako. The correct ones to choose are listed below.

  • Take the needle out of the one on the left.
  • The second one is near the middle area, in the act of being strung backward.
  • This one is to the right with its head turned upside down.
  • The fourth is the one smiling right next to the one with a frown.
  • The last one is at the back, facing downwards, with both hands on the side.

Hard Difficulty Solution

On Hard mode, collecting the notes will upset your friends – the game wants the scarecrows to resemble them. Here’s what you need to choose:

  • The first is to the left, who has a mask on the back of their head.
  • This is the one looking down with a sickle stuck on its back.
  • The third one is away from the others and in the act of being strung backward.
  • This is the one with a frown on its face, and its left arm is covered in rope.
  • The last one has a sickle on its back and is looking down.
