How to Get the Bucket Challenge Achievement in Life Is Strange Reunion

In Life Is Strange: Reunion, it’s easy to miss achievements if you rush through the story. One tricky one, called ‘Bucket Challenge’, requires you to stop the graffiti in the quad from being erased. If you want to unlock it, I’ll walk you through exactly how and when to do it during the game.

How to Stop the Quad Graffiti from Being Removed and Get the ‘Bucket Challenge’ Achievement in Life Is Strange: Reunion

Okay, so I just unlocked the ‘Bucket Challenge’ achievement while playing the ‘Class Act’ chapter. It happens when Max is teaching photography – specifically, how to snap pics of people around the Quad. After the opening scene, you get to wander around and mess with everything and everyone there. It’s pretty fun, and that’s when the achievement popped for me!

Go to the scaffolding on the right side, near where you play as Max. You’ll see some red graffiti next to it. If you look at the graffiti, a janitor will start cleaning it up – and he does so with a pretty unusual dance! Watch him for a bit, then prepare to mess up his cleaning job.

Go back to before you touched the graffiti. Look near it on the ground – you’ll see a bucket you can move. The custodian is nearby on the main path, and he’s distracted, so he won’t notice. Move the bucket, then look at the graffiti again.

Okay, so the janitor shows up to clean the graffiti, but then he starts dancing! It’s hilarious, but he ends up knocking over his bucket. Without the soapy water, he can’t actually clean anything, which means… I totally succeeded in getting away with the graffiti! It’s perfect – nobody even knows it was me.
