How to get the Ending B in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got some exciting news to share! The newest creation from Binary Haze, titled Bloom in the Mist, has just been unveiled. This game is actually the follow-up to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knight, a Metroidvania that garnered tremendous acclaim in the gaming community.

In the follow-up game, titled Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, the Metacritic rating stands at 89. Much like its predecessor, this new installment features two possible conclusions – endings A and B. However, it’s ending B that is considered the true one.

In our guide, I’ll show you how to get the B ending in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist.

How to get ending B in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Step 1: In this initial phase, finish the game and achieve the ending labeled “A”. This is a crucial requirement for moving forward to subsequent stages.

Step 2: Now, let’s proceed to explore the pair of red blooms we didn’t get to engage with earlier. The first one is located within the Redwood Forest.

Step 3: Moving forward, we’ll visit the Original Realm. Previously restricted areas will now become accessible. Take a moment to watch the scene unfold.

Step 4: Go to the second flower, in the Central Stratum – Central City:

If you possess the Blighted Pupil and the Stele of Origin, a cutscene will ensue. If at that moment the entire map shows as blue, it means you have both items in your inventory. The Stele is bestowed upon you by Rubin, while the Blighted Pupil can be found on the ground following the final battle against Reibolg in the Land of Origin region. It’s essential to note that Reibolg resides in the third part of the Land of Origin. To reach this area, you must first traverse through the Crystalline Realm zone.

As a gamer, I found myself with two items now, one of them being the Faintly-Glowing Aegis Curio, bestowed by the priestess. My next mission: find the NPC in the Land of Origin, a place I’ve marked earlier (Step 3). Let’s see where this adventure takes me!

Step 6: The NPC will hand over Lilia’s Corrupted Ring for you to use. Now, wear the relic before challenging the final boss once more. Keep in mind that this foe is the toughest in the entire game, so be ready!

How to defeat Gilroy, the Administrator (Absolute Form) in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

In this iteration of Gilroy, as anticipated, it’s incredibly potent and can take your life with just three to four strikes, even on the easiest setting. Here’s how I managed to defeat him at Normal Mode and level 67:

As one would expect, this rendition of Gilroy is extremely powerful and can end your life in three to four blows, regardless of difficulty level. Here’s the strategy I employed to overcome him at Normal Mode and level 67:

  • Barrage
  • Chain Whip

Relics (All upgraded to maximum)

  • Incomplete Gear

  • Mysterious Glowing Can
  • Evasive Fragrance
  • Tarnished Tag

Carapace:

Fight Strategy

Initial Stage: During this stage, combat appears straightforward. Maintain an offensive stance and ensure you dodge consecutively two times whenever he calls forth his swords.

Phase Two: Matters become intricate. In this stage, he initiates an electrically charged assault, summoning a colossal sword on the brink of a fatal strike. During these moments, wait for two seconds and counter with the Chain Whip to block the attack. Keep in mind to dodge multiple times when he calls forth swords.

In this third stage, I’ll find myself dodging and parrying much like the first phase. He’ll float about, attacking with moves that are relatively straightforward to evade.

Fourth stage: This is the most challenging phase in the game. The main objective here is to endure a stage where he calls down powerful beams of dark light. When he does this, he will move towards the center of the room and jump down. It’s best to position yourself at the farthest corners of the room. If you remain in the center, it could lead to an instant defeat. Continuously attack him with the Barrage skill to deplete his stamina bar.
