How to Get the Fuse in RE9

In Resident Evil Requiem, after Grace breaks free from being restrained in the Care Center, she’ll come across a locked gate with a fuse box nearby. As is common in Resident Evil games, the fuse box is missing a fuse, and you’ll need to find it to proceed.

How to Get the Missing Fuse in the Care Center in RE9

Cherub Key

To find the missing fuse in Resident Evil Requiem, start by opening the wooden desk near the fusebox and locked gate at the hallway’s end. You’ll find a Cherub Key inside. Then, turn around, walk back down the hall, and use the Cherub Key to unlock the first door on the left – Room 201.

Once you’re in the room, go to the closet and find a lighter and a box. You’ll need the lighter to reach the very dark Nurse’s Station, and the box contains the missing fuse. However, you’ll first need to find a screwdriver to open the box.

Getting the Screwdriver in RE9

Now that you have the lighter, go back to the very dark area to the south (as shown in the picture) and open the door. A frightening creature will start chasing you. Since this monster doesn’t like light, quickly find a lit room – room 201 worked for us – and wait for it to disappear for a moment.

Go back to the room where you first saw the monster – it’s currently not there. This room is the Nurses’ Station. You’ll see a medical cart that Grace can move, and it’s blocking access to a locker.

Move the cart to the right side of the room. Just as you’re about to finish, a monster will reappear. To avoid it, turn off your lighter and crouch under a desk in the corner. Once it’s gone, use the cart you moved to climb up and get the red toolbox from the high shelf in the corner.

Head back to the fusebox room (Room 201). The monster will reappear on your way, so quickly find a well-lit room to hide in until it passes. Once it’s gone, go into the closet in Room 201 and use the screwdriver to open the box and take the fuse.

The monster will reappear, so immediately run to the fuse box by the locked gate and insert the fuse. This will trigger a cutscene, ending the section with Grace and giving you control of Leon again.
