Every Sunday, you can catch ‘The Grand Saucier’ on television, where a new sauce recipe is featured in each episode. Remarkably, 24 out of the total 32 recipes shown are unique to this program.
If you’ve failed to catch an episode, rebroadcasts start from Year 3. Some farmers may have overlooked several episodes if they’re not diligent about checking the TV every day or keeping track of Sundays. (Rest assured, even I can be remiss sometimes.)
Luckily, you can swiftly get up-to-speed with the game Stardew Valley by simply flipping through a book that provides you with all 32 recipes right away.
This cookbook titled “The Queen of Sauce” is particularly useful if you’re eager to earn the “Gourmet Chef” achievement. Luckily, if you’re at the point of striving for such achievements, chances are you’ve already started your journey towards acquiring this particular item.
Unlocking The Cookbook

In Stardew Valley, you definitely need to put in the effort to unlock the recipe book. It’s a later game prize that demands some substantial advancement on the tropical island known as Ginger Island.
To get to Ginger Island, you initially have to:
1. Visit either the Ginger Island Dock or the Joja Warehouse.
2. Then, head to the back of the Fish Shop and repair your boat using 20 pieces of wood (or 5 logs and 5 wooden planks).
3. Remember that Willy will still charge you 1,000 gold coins for the boat ride, even with all your efforts. Frugal as ever!
Upon arriving at your destination, you’ll have the task of locating a total of 100 out of 130 items. These trinkets are hidden throughout Ginger Island, and once gathered, they can be used to unlock additional zones (and features) on the island.
Once you come across 100 items, you’ll gain access to the Walnut Room on Ginger Island. Notably, the Bookseller in Pelican Town will now have the Queen of Sauce Cookbook available for purchase.

The challenging part has been completed! All you have to do now is drop by the Bookseller when he comes to Pelican Town again to get your hands on the Queen of Sauce Cookbook.
The Bookseller drops by sporadically, precisely two times throughout the season. Luckily, a notification pops up every time he arrives. You can locate his store north of the Movie Theater, or if you’re one of those particular players, it’s near JojaMart.
Although the Bookseller’s stock changes with each visit, there’s no need to worry! The Queen of Sauce Cookbook is consistently up for sale. It retails at 50,000g.
