You can keep coming back to places like Restaurant Le Nah and Restaurant Le Wow and battle for a small fee – it’s super repeatable, which makes getting that Charm so much faster!
If you’re looking to get the Shiny Charm, Restaurant Le Nah on the southeast side of Lumiose City is the place to go. Bring a strong Pokémon that can quickly defeat most opponents and keep challenging trainers repeatedly. While it will still take a few hours, this is the quickest way to earn the Charm in the game.
Many players suggest using a Pokémon that can learn the move Extreme Speed for this method, as its quick animation greatly reduces the overall time it takes to grind. While it might not seem like much, this small change can save you a lot of time. You can find one in Lumiose City by searching the rooftops, or you can battle and catch an Alpha Lucario in Wild Zone 20.
Okay, so if I’m getting bored of doing all those restaurant battles, I can head to the Battle Zones at night to just battle trainers like we used to! Even after I beat the main story in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, I can still grind battles there, which is awesome for leveling up Pokemon that need a little extra boost to evolve and complete my Pokedex.
To finish the final research task for Mable and get the Shiny Charm in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you’ll need to complete 1,000 battles. It’s best to start working on this early, but the good news is you only have to do it once! Good luck finding shiny Pokemon!
