Okay, so in Crimson Desert, let me tell you, your gear really matters. Whether I’m fighting a ton of those annoying bleed bandits, dodging spells from flying mages, or trying to take down a tough boss, if my armor and weapons aren’t up to par, I’m gonna have a bad time. Basically, good gear equals success in this game!
As you face tougher enemies, you’ll need to constantly improve your weapons. This means finding or creating new ones that do more damage, or have special abilities that will help you defeat them and explore new areas.
Okay, so I was getting frustrated with my weak swords and bows, really needing something with some serious punch. Then I found the Soul Spear – this massive two-handed weapon that honestly fixed all my damage problems. It’s a total game-changer!
In this guide, I’ll show you where the Soul Spear is located, and how to retrieve it with ease.
How to Get the Soul Spear
You can find the Soul Spear at the Antumbra Ritual grounds, a hidden area inside a mountain in the Argent Peaks.
You can find the entrance to the ritual ground on your map at the location marked with the letter ‘H’ in ‘Hernand’. It’s also indicated by the red X in the images shown.
The entrance can be tricky to find, so I recommend looking for the road just west of the ‘H’ in ‘Hernand’ – it’s shown with an arrow in the picture. This road will take you right to the entrance.
How to Find the Antumbra Ritual Grounds Entrance
The arrow in the image points to the entrance of the Antumbra Ritual Grounds, where you can find the Soul Spear. To make sure you’re in the correct location, look for the stone bridge on the right side.
The entrance is hidden on the mountainside, requiring you to either climb down or fly to reach it. Checking it out with photo mode, as shown in the image, can help you figure out the best way to get there.
You can also spot torches on either side of the doorway, offering another view of the entrance shown in the image.
Be careful, Greymane, there are dangerous enemies nearby. This area is filled with powerful foes, including mages who attack from the air. It would be wise to bring a bow and plenty of arrows to help you fight them.
Navigating the Ritual Grounds
After entering, go through the doorway and continue straight ahead. You’ll soon reach the remains of a bridge, offering a view down into the ritual grounds.
The arrow in the image shows you the exact location of the Soul Spear. You’ll need to go down four levels and land on the platform that’s on the south side of the ritual grounds.
Jump down and use flight to glide into position, until you have eyes on the Soul Spear, seen above.
The Soul Spear boasts a strong attack power of 27. Its finishing move unleashes the souls it holds, driving nearby enemies to madness.
