How to Get the Tooka Paw & Ancient Hunter Carving in Star Wars Outlaws

As a seasoned Star Wars Outlaws adventurer with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that uncovering hidden treasures has become one of my favorite pastimes in this galaxy far, far away. The Flyers’ Nest Treasure on Typhon’s Rock and Flyer Ridge is no exception!

In the game Star Wars Outlaws, players will stumble upon a great deal of concealed riches scattered across the four primary planets. As soon as Kay Vess embarks on her exploration, alerts will appear indicating treasure is nearby. On specific occasions, such as the treasure discovered on Typhon’s Rock on Toshara, the entire hoard cannot be amassed in a single visit. The Flyers’ Nest Treasure requires Kay to come back when she has the necessary tool. This tutorial will demonstrate how players can obtain the Flyers’ Nest treasure on Typhon’s Rock and Flyer Ridge in Star Wars Outlaws.

Flyers’ Nest Explained:

In the game “Star Wars Outlaws,” the “Thieves’ Den Treasure” isn’t actually the name of the place where the loot is hidden, but rather a clue given in a treasure map. The “Thieves’ Den Treasure” is discovered jointly at Typhon’s Rock on the planet Toshara.

Where to Find Typhon’s Rock

The massive rock formation, dubbed “Typhon’s Rock,” lies east of “Jaunta’s Hope.” It stands out on any map, with its peak pointing towards the northeast. Several clues, or “Intel Chains,” can guide you to Typhone’s Rock’s hidden treasure, but having them in your Journal isn’t necessary for finding it. The treasure at Typhon’s Rock is part of the ‘Flyers’ Nest,’ with two distinct locations that could be considered within this treasure:

  • Typhon’s Rock: There is a treasure cache named after the general location, with several Flyers hovering around the area and even guiding Kay.
  • Flyer Ridge: There is a hidden location within the depths of Typhon’s Rock which features a Kay Part. There are two treasure chests at this location.

In Star Wars Outlaws, Kay will need a way to shatter rocks. To do this, she’ll need the Blaster’s Power Module, which she’ll obtain soon after departing from Toshara for the very first time.

How to Get the Typhon’s Rock Treasure in Star Wars Outlaws

In the Star Wars Outlaws universe, you can discover the Typhon’s Rock treasure at any given moment. To get there, Kay should navigate towards Typhon’s Rock from the northern direction. There’s a modest path that guides to the intended spot, starting from Chrissanta Palus, a unique smuggler whose camp lies just north of the rock.

Take the little pathway southward, and you’ll come across a small overhang followed by a scalaable wall. Atop this wall, you will find a narrow passage adorned with a vine stretching across. Pass beneath the vine and venture through the tunnel. In the horizon, you’ll spot two substantial rocks with an opening between them. Ascend the closest rock, then leap over the gap. Upon completion, you’ll discover a grappling point which will guide Kay to a lower ledge. The Typhon’s Rock treasure is hidden at its base.

  • Reward: Tooka Paw Minor Charm (lessens fall damage).

How to Get the Flyer Ridge Treasure in Star Wars Outlaws

After Kay obtains her blaster’s Power Module, she can journey back to Typhon’s Rock to uncover the Flyer Ridge treasure. To get there, navigate towards the rocky outcrops featuring the grapple point, which leads you to the Typhon’s Rock hidden stash. By gazing northwest, you’ll spot the tunnel entrance that winds its way through. Advance towards the tunnel and observe the interior from a safe distance.

Beyond the tunnel, you’ll notice the wind gusts sporadically, and there are stone walls flanking the trail where Kay can conceal herself. Wait for the wind to lapse before sprinting and taking cover behind the initial stone wall. Then repeat this action with the second stone wall. In the end, sprint and dive into the central fissure in the tunnel. Upon entering, you’ll discover a grappling point that descends further into the rock. It is here that you will face the first rock wall susceptible to destruction. Fire at it with the Power Module and proceed along the path towards Flyer Ridge.

Flyer Ridge Puzzle:

Deep within Flyer Ridge, Kay finds herself facing a straightforward environmental challenge before reaching the treasure. A generator is obstructed by a large rock. Nearby, there’s an elevator that Kay needs to step onto once she destroys the generator. However, there are numerous rocks blocking her view. To clear the path, use the Power Module. After standing on the elevator and having Nix lift the generator shutter with a signal, Kay can destroy the generator. This action will raise the elevator, allowing her to access both treasure chests. A clear exit is available through a red energy barrier that leads back outside, and Kay collects two more charms from Star Wars Outlaws on her journey.
