In Nioh 3, the Twin Snake Helmet is a special reward for players who tried the game’s demo. You can earn it by either transferring your progress from the demo or by defeating a particular enemy within a limited time after the game launched. This guide will walk you through exactly how to get the Twin Snake Armor and equip it in the game.
How to Get the Twin-Snake Helmet in Nioh 3 (Demo Reward)
In Nioh 3, you can earn the Twin Snake Helmet by playing the game’s demo before February 15, 2025. If you do, you’ll automatically receive the helmet when the full game comes out. Don’t worry if you miss the demo! You can also get the helmet by defeating the Jakotsu-Baba boss in the full game before February 15, 2025 – it’s guaranteed to drop!
Okay, so if you missed out on getting the Twin-Snake helmet by February 15th, don’t sweat it! You can still get it as a rare drop from the Jakotsu-Baba boss. But honestly, if you want to avoid a ton of farming, I’d really recommend trying to beat Jakotsu-Baba before that date, whether you’re playing the demo or the full version of Nioh 3. That helmet looks awesome, and I don’t want to spend hours grinding for it!
How to Claim & Equip the Twin-Snake Helmet in Nioh 3
If you beat the Jakotsu-Baba boss in the Nioh 3 demo or the complete game before February 15th, you’ll have to get your reward by claiming it within the game. Here’s how:
- Interact with any of the available Shrines.
- Go to the Preparations tab in the Shrine menu.
- Click on the “Boons” option. The game will load for a bit, and you’ll receive some outstanding rewards, including one rare Twin-Snake Helmet and its crafting recipe.
To get the Twin-Snake Helmet on in Nioh 3, pause the game and go to the Equipment menu. Then, find the Head Armor section and equip the helmet there. Keep in mind that this helmet only works with the Samurai style and won’t appear when you’re playing as a Ninja.
You can change your character’s style by pressing the “R” key on your keyboard or the “R2/RT” buttons on your controller, even while you’re in the menu.
