How to Get The Wooden Goat Head & Body Treasure in RE8

To succeed in the dangerous, monster-filled world of Resident Evil Village, you’ll need to gather every resource possible. While crafting ammo and health items is important, upgrading them is crucial. This requires Lira, the game’s currency, and one of the best ways to earn it is by finding and selling treasure. One valuable treasure is a Wooden Animal figure, which is found in two pieces: a head and a body. Here’s a guide to finding both parts in RE8.

Resident Evil Village Wooden Animal Body Location

The Wooden Animal treasure piece is hidden in one of the houses close to the Maiden of War statue – the one right beside the blocked road. Go inside and search the house. You’ll find the Wooden Animal Body on a small table near a door with a bolt lock that leads back to the village.

You can sell valuable items, such as the Wooden Animal Body, to The Duke. You’ll find him after you unlock the gate leading into Castle Dimitrescu.

The leader of the Wooden Animal Treasure is hidden on the grounds of the Maiden of War statue, but it’s not easy to reach. It’s at the bottom of the well near the statue, and you’ll need the Well Wheel to retrieve it. To get the Well Wheel, you must first infiltrate and escape Castle Dimitrescu, and defeat Lady Dimitrescu herself.

The Well Wheel is located inside a small shed near the house with the red chimney. To get there, go back to the house where you discovered the Wooden Animal Body, and walk around the buildings until you see a tractor blocking the road. Next to the tractor, you’ll find a large gate with a padlock. Use your knife to break the lock, disregard the ‘Do Not Enter’ sign, and go inside. Once you’re in the compound, there’s a shed on the left. Open the locked cabinet inside to find a Jack Handle and a pistol. Then, go back to the tractor and use the Jack Handle to lift it, allowing you to crawl underneath.

Continue along the path until you reach a locked door. Remember the Iron Insignia Key you found when you escaped Castle Dimitrescu? You’ll need that to open it. Once inside, go to the shed near the ladder to find the Water Wheel.

Return the Water Wheel to the well by the Maiden of War to receive a Wooden Animal Head. Once you have both the head and body, combine them to create a complete Wooden Animal, which you can then sell for 15,000 Liras.
