How To Get Mega Absol Z in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC
Players can obtain the Mega Absol Z by battling and catching a special, powerful version of Absol. Successfully defeating and catching this Pokemon will reward them with the Absolite Z, which is needed to transform Absol into its Z Mega Evolution.
Players can access this battle after finishing the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 1. Once they’ve spoken with Corbeau, he’ll task them with finding a powerful, Mega Evolved Pokémon that’s appeared within a Hyperdimension Distortion.
This battle plays out similarly to other Rogue Mega Evolution battles, but watch out for Mega Absol Z’s powerful attacks! Getting hit twice with Max Green Canary Doll Counts will end the game.
Is Mega Absol Z Worth Keeping?
Mega Absol Z is a Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon known for its aggressive nature and high Attack and Speed stats. This makes it a powerful physical attacker, a change from the regular Mega Absol which focuses more on Special Attack. To maximize its potential, it’s essential to give Absol the Adamant nature, which further boosts its Attack stat.
Mega Absol Z can be a surprisingly effective user of Knock Off and Night Slash, as its stats work well with these moves. Shadow Claw is another strong choice, and Play Rough helps it hit a wider range of opponents, so carefully consider its moveset. Don’t forget to teach it Swords Dance – it’s a fantastic way to boost its attack power.
Mega Absol Z can be a helpful teammate in PvE and Story Mode if you’re willing to put in the effort to build it. We don’t have enough information yet to know how well it performs in PvP, but as the game evolves and more players experiment with different strategies, it’s likely to become a popular choice.
Z-Mega Evolutions, like Mega Lucario Z or Mega Absol Z, use up Mega Energy much more quickly than regular Mega Evolutions. However, as a trade-off, their special moves (Plus Moves) happen incredibly fast – almost as if they had a super-powered Quick Claw.
