How to Get Training Points in Yakuza Kiwami 3

You can earn Training Points by finishing challenges on the Training List, or by practicing on the second floor of the Chura Bar.

The best way to earn Training Points is by practicing at the dojo. You can find the dojo upstairs at Chura Bar on Hatsumachi Street. Talk to the Miyazato Dojo Student to begin, and you’ll start as an Apprentice. Each practice session presents different challenges and gives you a lot of Training Points as a reward.

You can find the Training List by clicking the tab next to the Options button. It’s full of challenges that give you Training Points as rewards! There are 322 different challenges available, covering everything from actions you take in Battle and Bad Boy Dragon, to Adventures and Entertainment.

How to Use Training Points in Yakuza Kiwamu 3

Once you’ve earned enough Training Points, Miya will text you, giving you permission to take Promotion Exams at Chura Bar. You can start these exams by talking to a student at the Miyazato Dojo. Passing these exams will give you access to more practice opportunities and, importantly, unlock special fighting skills.

Okay, so I’ve been grinding and now I’m swimming in Training Points! I headed over to the Upgrade Abilities section to boost Kiryu’s Special Abilities. Apparently, it’s going to take a whopping 28,650 Training Points to unlock everything, but it’s worth it because those upgrades give him new combos for each of his fighting styles.
