How to Get & Use White/Gold Dye in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, you can personalize your armor’s appearance by changing its color. The game offers a wide variety of colors, dyes, and places to learn new dye recipes. Many players look for the combined white and gold dye, which is available as a single color option.

You can find both the white and gold dye in Pororin village, and it’s available as early as Chapter 2 of the main story. We’ll show you exactly where to find it and how to use it to create awesome armor.

You can unlock the white and gold dyes by visiting the Pororin village. However, you’ll first need to finish the quest called “The Unreachable Village.” You can find a guide to help you complete the quest and reach Pororin quickly by clicking here.

White/Gold Dye Location in Crimson Desert

  • Head to the Reachwood Ruins, south of Hernand and within the Pororin district.
  • You’ll find a tall and abandoned tower, which you can climb to reach the rooftop.
  • On a wooden box on the roof, you can pick up the Bright Yellow Dye.
  • Enter your inventory and select X/A to “Use” the Bright Yellow Dye.

Even though it’s labeled ‘Bright Yellow Dye’, rest assured this product is actually a white dye. Here’s how to use it.

How to Use the White/Gold Dye in Crimson Desert

  • White and gold dyes are exclusive to the “Pororin Dye” section of the Dyehouse.
  • To unlock these dyes to be used across all Dyehouses, you must talk to Devin, located in Pororin (marked on the map above).
  • For the white dye, you need to select the top left dye under Pororin Dye.
  • For the gold dye, you can change the material to something shiny, then select any of the variations of yellow to turn your armor into pure gold.

If you want more yellow color choices, you can buy Yellow Dye from Devin to add to what you already have.
